Who we are

Digisteel Drafting (ABN 81 938 103 784) is a structural steel detailing business in Officer VIC 3809 – “we”, “us”. You can contact us any time at martin@digisteeldrafting.com.au or on 0402 449 881.

What we collect

This website has no forms, accounts, analytics or advertising cookies. We only collect what you choose to send us by email or phone – usually your name, company, contact details, and the drawings and project information for your job.

How we use it

To quote, model and detail your project, to talk to you and the people working on it, and to keep our business and tax records. We don’t sell or rent your information, and we don’t use it for advertising.

Your drawings and projects

We use the documents you send only for your job. We may show examples of our work on this website, as steel-only views with client names, addresses and title blocks removed. If you would rather we didn’t show your project, tell us and we’ll take it down.

Services this website uses

This website is hosted by Netlify, which keeps standard server logs (such as IP addresses) for security. Fonts come from Google Fonts and code libraries from cdnjs (Cloudflare), so those services see your IP address when the page loads. The office link opens Google Maps only if you click it. Some of these services store information outside Australia, including in the United States.

How long we keep it

For as long as we need it for your project, and afterwards for as long as the law requires for business and tax records.

Seeing, correcting or deleting your information

Email martin@digisteeldrafting.com.au to see the information we hold about you, or to correct or delete it. We’ll reply within 30 days.

Questions or complaints

Please contact us first and we’ll do our best to sort it out. If you’re not happy with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
